Increasing digital awareness and inclusion, Reducing isolation while keeping the Community Safe
Why are we passionate about keeping our community safe online?
The Community Tech Hub CIC (Community Technology Hub) was setup by 5 members who have seen first hand the issues facing many people in the world of technology. Digital crime is the largest criminal network globally causing lots of people anxiety and stress. Our mission is simple. To give people the power to feel in control of their technology, to reduce the stress when something goes wrong and to access the digital world without the anxiety of being hacked. We are passionate about making our community feel included and able to use their technology to make their lives better.

How we are funded
The Community Tech Hub CIC (Community Interest Company) more often referred to as a social enterprise. A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a limited company that is set up to benefit a community or pursue a social purpose, rather than making a profit for shareholders. CICs are often considered a hybrid between a charity and a company. We are currently funded by East Suffolk Council, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and from donations and membership subscriptions.
